Our Process
Thoughtfully Crafted. Naturally One of a Kind.
Each Divine Flow piece is created through a slow, intentional process that honors both the fabric and the hands that bring it to life.
Our garments begin as carefully selected vintage silk saris—each rich in color, history, and character. Because of this, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
From a single sari, we are able to create only a limited number of garments, making each design inherently rare.
Natural Dyeing
Our dyeing process unfolds over several days using traditional, plant-based techniques.
Each textile undergoes a meticulous process that may include:
Natural mordanting to prepare the fabric
Slow extraction of color from plant materials
Hand tying, binding, and dyeing
Careful washing and drying
Layering multiple colors can extend this process even further, resulting in depth, richness, and subtle variation.
Because these dyes are derived from nature, variations in tone and texture are part of their beauty.
The Beauty of Uniqueness
Working with reclaimed textiles means each piece carries its own story.
You may notice subtle variations in the fabric—gentle signs of its past life that add to the individuality of the garment.
Every piece is thoughtfully inspected to ensure it meets our standards for quality, durability, and wearability.
A Slower Way of Creating
We believe in honoring traditional craftsmanship and creating with intention.
Our plant materials are sustainably sourced, and our process supports artisan communities and time-honored techniques.
This is not mass production.
This is wearable art—made to be treasured.
